You might have seen the slogan on NEC’s t-shirts or bumper stickers: “Fire the bosses, Free the Land, Care for the People & Build a Solidarity Economy.” It sounds great, but what do we actually mean — what lineages and struggles do we evoke and build upon — when we use these phrases? We’re here to break it down.
As our communities struggle to survive this pandemic and against a failed governance and economic system, how will we reclaim our power and create a world where our needs are met, and no one is disposable? This series intends to be an educational tool for those who want to build a new world but don’t know where to start.
